Linkin Park Member Exits Tour Just Days After Comeback Announcement

Just a few days after it was confirmed, Linkin Park’s original guitarist Brad Delson shocked fans by announcing he would not be traveling with the group on their planned reunion tour. The band is embarking on its first significant tour since taking a break after the loss of Chester Bennington in 2017. Delson stated that he will not be going on tour, but he will still be working behind the scenes with the band, concentrating on collaboration and studio work. By introducing Alex, who will replace him on the road and characterizing him as a gifted musician and important member of the squad, he comforted the supporters.

With the band’s comeback, drummer Colin Brittain and new lead singer Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara are also introduced. Armstrong’s participation has generated significant controversy, especially in light of her prior endorsement of rapist Danny Masterson in public. Armstrong addressed the matter, making it clear that she was against abuse and that her support had been a mistake made before learning all the facts of the case.

Notwithstanding these difficulties, Linkin Park just revealed their upcoming album, From Zero, which is scheduled for release in November, as well as their first song in seven years, “The Emptiness Machine.” The band’s changes, especially Armstrong’s involvement and Delson’s departure, have divided fans; some have even suggested the group rename themselves. The team is still determined to continue with this new chapter, though.
