One day, while the two best friends were out shopping, a huge rainstorm hit Glasgow, Montana. However, little did they know when they parked at a grocery store, they would find something that would really test their kindness.
They spotted a tiny kitten, just about two months old, hurt and shivering in a crack in the pavement.
The storm had been really bad, and this little kitten was caught in it. Worried for her life, the friends quickly took her to the nearest vet.
Sadly, the first news was not good. The kitten was drenched and hurt, barely hanging on.
X-rays showed how serious her injuries were: a crushed pelvis, a broken front leg, and a badly damaged tail. At this time, the vet was uncertain if she would make it.
Since the friends found themselves in such a sad situation, they had to make a tough choice. They decided to take the kitten in and give her all the love and care she really needed.
Even though they weren’t sure if she would get better, they were committed to helping her. They named her Med, and she started her long road to recovery.
For weeks, she stayed in a basket, but little by little, she began to show that she was getting stronger.
Each day, she surprised everyone. First, she learned to sit up, and then she figured out how to move around using her one good arm.
And when her cast finally came off, it was a big moment because it meant she could start her physical therapy.
Her human friends showed incredible commitment as they worked hard to help Med get her movement back.
And the changes she made so far were truly amazing! She went from crawling to walking, and then even running up the stairs, surprising everyone with her willpower and energy.
As for the end, I’m happy to share that Med is now a lively and playful cat! Her journey from being so close to passing to living a happy and healthy life inspires everyone who hears about it.
The friends who saved her feel so proud and full of love for their remarkable cat. And who wouldn’t?
