According to reports, Katie Price “ruined” vacations for vacationers while she healed from a facelift in Turkey.
Following her recuperation from her sixth facelift, the 46-year-old businesswoman and former beauty model has been enjoying the summer heat in the Mediterranean nation. She had to recover from the treatment, which cost her around £10k, but she was determined to make the most of her time by catching up on her sunbathing.
She was pictured lounging by her hotel pool and enjoying some sun during her trip to Turkey with partner and Married at First Sight star JJ Slater. She shielded her face from the light and covered her head with a towel to avoid any accidents after the surgery.
She was making the most of her time away, but her face did not cooperate completely because it seemed to leak blood as she swam. After that, according to reports, the blood began to float through the pool of the Sheraton Istanbul Atakoy Hotel, where she was staying. This caused some guests to become upset.
Angry vacationers flocked to the travel review website TripAdvisor and attacked the hotel for allowing her to remain. They further mentioned that she had “staples holding her scalp together” and “incisions weeping pus” as she moved around the hotel.
“We’re here at the moment and couldn’t fault this wonderful hotel until an infamous British celebrity and her entourage arrived and our opinion changed dramatically,” complained an irate guest. “Who wants to relax and dine at a hotel looking at someone with blood all over their face, staples holding their scalp on and incisions weeping with pus.”
The visitor continued, saying, “Oh and she used the swimming pool as well… I’m not sure this hotel should be used as a recovery facility for plastic surgery. It’s certainly put me off both visiting again and recommending it to anyone.”
This occurred after Katie was detained upon her return to the UK due to her nonattendance at court on problems about her bankruptcy claim. The reality TV star faced a massive unpaid tax bill of £761k, which led to her being declared bankrupt for the second time in March.
After the incident at the airport, Katie was taken into custody and then freed on bail. On Friday, August 9, she appeared before the High Court in London. According to an earlier order, Price’s wages would be deducted by 40% until the outstanding balance was settled.
Price was chatting with armed officers at the airport when she was informed that she would be held, according to photos that were made public after her detention. In a recent interview, Katie said she “just wants to move on” from the scandal. Another photo showed her hiding from the cameras by sitting on the back of a police van.
