While the name ‘Catwoman’ might ring a bell, this isn’t about the iconic Batman villain.
We’re talking about Jocelyn Wildenstein, the New York socialite who has become nearly unrecognizable over the years due to extensive cosmetic surgeries.
Her recent Instagram throwback photo vividly contrasts her current appearance with her past look.
Despite what many assume, Wildenstein has consistently denied undergoing any plastic surgery.
At 84 years old, the Swiss socialite maintains that she has never had cosmetic procedures.
However, her ex-husband, billionaire Alec Wildenstein, offered a different perspective during a 1998 Vanity Fair interview about their divorce.
Alec recounted how Jocelyn once commented on how “baggy” his eyes appeared, which led them both to get eye lifts together.
He said: “She was crazy. I would always find out last [about her having plastic surgery].
“She was thinking that she could fix her face like a piece of furniture. Skin does not work that way. But she wouldn’t listen.”
Jocelyn’s divorce from Alec Wildenstein, a prominent art dealer, led to a jaw-dropping $2.5 billion settlement.
However, the full amount wasn’t paid out in one lump sum.
The court ordered that she would receive $100 million annually, but after Alec’s death in 2008, his family contested his fortune.
Though she continued receiving payments for a while, Alec’s family eventually cut her off in 2015. By 2018, with her financial situation worsening, Jocelyn filed for bankruptcy.
Recently, to celebrate her daughter’s birthday, Jocelyn surprised her followers with a throwback photo on Instagram.
The picture shows a young Jocelyn, radiating beauty as a blonde bombshell, and could easily be mistaken for a Bond girl, holding her daughter Diane, who is now 45 years old.
The post’s caption read: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter Diane Wildenstein #oljogi #jocelynwildenstein.”
In June, Wildenstein shared another throwback photo on Instagram, this time from her teenage years.
In the caption, she took aim at those who have been altering her images, writing: “#tbt that’s me #jocelynwildenstein at ballet classes in Switzerland at 15 years old.”
She added: “So maybe you should stop speculating on my image! Press stop! Stop please and stop photoshopping my images because you are all [100 percent] wrong.”
Jocelyn didn’t hold back, stating: “Stop posting fake images of me.”
