DME Paramedical Courses Admission 2023 – For the session 2022, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has announced the admission of paramedical courses in the Institutes of Paramedical Science, Guwahati/ Institute of Paramedical Science, Dibrugarh/ Institute of Paramedical Science, Silchar/ Institute of Paramedical Science, Jorhat, Institute of Paramedical Science, Barpeta, and Institute of Paramedical Science, Tezpur.
Candidates who wish to take admission to the above-said courses must submit offline applications in the prescribed application form by the closing date.

DME Paramedical Courses Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: HSSLC (Science) (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum of 45% marks for General Candidates and 40% for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), and ST(H) candidates is the minimum qualification for selection.
Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Residency: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must provide proof of residency. The provision of a Permanent Resident Certificate is not applicable to the children of Assam government employees.
Age Limit: Students must be between the ages of 17 and 24 as of December 31st, 2022.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit for OBC/ MOBC, SC, ST (P), and ST (H) candidates will be 3 years. Age relaxation is applicable to DIBYANG candidates in accordance with the current Government of Assam norms.

How to Apply for DME Paramedical Courses Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must download the designated application form from the link provided in the important section below, or from the official DME website, in order to apply. Candidates must attach attested copies of all of the following documents before submitting their application.
- In the blank space, paste a passport-sized photograph.
- HSLC Examination Admit Card (Age proof).
- HSSLC or equivalent examination mark sheet and pass certificate.
- Certificate of Caste (Wherever applicable).
- Assam Permanent Resident Certificate.
- Certificate in support of the requested quota (Wherever applicable).
- The local MLA recently issued an Unemployed Family Quota Certificate (if applicable).
DME Paramedical Courses Admission 2023 for Submission of Application Form
On or before the last date, applicants must submit the completed Application forms along with the required documents to Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati/ Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh/ Silchar Medical College, Silchar/ Jorhat Medical College, Jorhat/ F.A.A. Medical College, Barpeta/ Tezpur Medical College, Tezpur (whichever is convenient). No applications will be accepted after the deadline for submitting the application form. The application should be placed inside an envelope with the words “Application for Paramedical Courses” clearly written on it.
Note:- Applications sent by post or email to the DME, Assam office will not be accepted.
Candidates will be selected for the course and the institutes based on merit (% in PCB) through a subsequent counseling process that will be announced in the newspaper and on the official website.
